Sixteen players will be selected for a two-day, single-elimination tournament. Four additional applicants will be chosen as alternates in case a selected player cannot attend.

Sixteen players enter the bracket, but only eight will survive the opening round. Eight head-to-head matches will determine who advances to the July Championship Finals.

The final eight return to battle through the Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and Finals. Only one will emerge as the July Champion and secure a place in the September Grand Finale.

Quick FAQs

Does submitting an application guarantee a player spot?

No. Sixteen players and four alternates will be selected after applications are reviewed.
Do I need to attend both tournament dates?

All selected players must attend the Opening Showdown on July 23. Only the eight players who advance will compete on July 26, but every applicant must be available for both dates.
What does Best-of-3 mean?

The first player to win two games wins the match and advances. The Grand Finals will be Best-of-5, meaning the first player to win three games becomes the July Champion.
What happens if a selected player drops out?

An alternate may be invited to fill the open position. Alternates should remain available until the organizers confirm that the bracket is final.
Can I compete again if I lose in July?

Yes. Any July competitor who does not become the July Champion may submit a new application for the August tournament.
Can the July Champion enter the August tournament?

No. The July Champion advances directly to the September Grand Finale and is therefore ineligible for the August tournament.
Can I use a gamertag instead of my legal name?

You should provide your full name privately during registration. Your gamertag or display name may be used publicly on the bracket and tournament materials.

Redemption Rule

Players who compete in July but do not win the July Championship may apply again for the August tournament.

The July Champion may not enter the August tournament because they will have already earned a place in the September Grand Finale.
